Dry suit

Hello RICKA! Looking for a new paddling suit for the season. Has anyone owned a Reed Chillcheater. Their build/quality seems on point. Price seems more than reasonable compared to suits offered here in the states. My only suit, Kokatat Nova, served me well. My only gripe was my height/weight did not fit their general construction. (to long here, not wide enough here) Reed takes all this their order process. Any thoughts?
PS, Glad to be back.   Tom Mitchell

Hi Tom,
Welcome back! I don't know about the Reed suit however Cam recently bought the Peak one from Greg Paquin and is very pleased with it.
It doesn't have a latex neck gasket but seems tight. https://www.peakuk.com/one_piece
My Kokatat suit is being repaired and I'm impressed with their customer service and their repair service.

I had a Reed suit for several years. It worked quite well.

The back zipper was a bit of a pain since it is hard to do yourself. Other than that it was good kit at a good price.

I did replace it with a Kokotat when it wore out and the Kokotat is more breathable than the Reed was. I also liked the spiffy green color I could get the Kokotat in better than what Reed had on offer.

I wasn't paddling a bright orange kayak at the time, so I didn't look like a pumpkin stem at the time.

IIRC the exchange rate at the time sort of sucked which also didn't help in terms of purchasing another Reed suit.

Thanks for your input Eric. Look forward to paddling sometime soon.
