Sat. 9/12/20 @ 10 a.m. Fort Wetherill, Jamestown

Jamestown "Circumcision" Trip, L-3, Launching at 10 a.m., Arrive at least half hour before.  We will depart Fort Wetherill and round Beavertail Point on the south end of Jamestown.  After paddling north we will portage Mackerel Cove Beach, after lunch, heading back to Fort Wetherill.  The trip will include touring with limited stretches of light surfing and rock gardening if desired (helmets required for those partaking).

I don't know if lifeguards will be at Mackerel Cove Beach. Now that it is after Labor Day, they might be there on weekends only.

 If so, the portage should be performed on the west end of the beach, where kayaks are allowed.
