Current play level 5, Stonington CT - Sun 8/30 (RSVP

Hi Folks,

There are strong currents this weekend.  I am proposing a trip to the reefs off of Stonington, CT on Sunday (more info below).  The wind forecast for Sunday has increased to Force 4 sustained with gusts force 5 late afternoon.  Because of the strong tides and winds this will be a level 5.  RSVP.  More details in the message below.

Sunday 8/30 will be the day for current play.  Please RSVP to Tim Gleason at: gleasont63@gmail.com if you are interested.  This is a level 4/5.  We will launch from Stonington Small Boat at 1:00 pm - likely off the water by 5:30-6:00.  Bring a snack or second lunch for break time prior to paddling back.  Send along any questions to the email above.
