Tim, will you please update your post on Saturday PM to reflect your projection of conditions along the course you intend?

I plan to be there, although like John I'll be keeping an eye on conditions, mainly wind. Swell I can handle but the current wind forecast of 12kt is about max for me right now. If it goes up I'll bow out.

Reluctantly, I'm going to pass on this trip. Dodgy   Gusts up to 24kt all day Sunday.  After a long period of inactivity due to foot surgery, I'm just not in shape (YET!) for these conditions.
Have fun!

We are on for tomorrow.  Expect to see three to five foot swells.  The wind will gust out of the west at up to 25 kts.  That puts this paddle level up to Level 5.  The plan is to go west from Fort Weatherill along the outside coast to Beavertail.  Depending on conditions we may cross to Whale Rock and return with the wind at our backs.  This paddle will require the ability to be safe and follow directions on the water at all times.  It should be a great day of sea paddling!
