Hi Folks,
Given the chilly, wet, windy forecast for Saturday and the fact that Jon moved the Sunday Paddle to Monday - We'll move the Rocks and Rescues to Sunday, July 4 - the temps will be a little warmer, the winds a little lighter, and less rain. That means more time in the water
. Same time - still dress to get wet. The launch site will be Ft Wetherill.
This will be a rocks and rescues practice open to all who might participate in level 3 and up trips - please RSVP - we will likely be at Ft. Wetherill, though the venue could change if the conditions aren't appropriate there (I'll post any changes to the message board). People should plan on getting wet and dress accordingly (perhaps bring a change of clothes), we will be in and out of our boats. Helmets should be worn and and tow belts are recommended. We'll plan to be ready to be on the water by 10:00 - There will be a group chat prior to getting on the water to discuss plans for the day. Questions?
Best,
Tim
