Hi Folks,
The forecast looks good for tomorrow, sunny, warm, light wind, a small amount of swell, and afternoon high tide which should make for a good practice and learning environment. In addition to the items listed below please remember to have ample water to stay hydrated and bring sunscreen.
Sunday, July 28 - We'll be having a rock play fundamentals and rescues session at Ft Wetherill on Sunday, July 28 (back-up weather date - Sunday Aug. 4). Launch time will be 10:30 am. This session will be geared towards newer paddlers, though experienced paddlers can use this as an opportunity to fine tune skills. In addition to your standard paddling kit, please remember to bring a helmet, tow belt, field lunch, and dress to get wet (spare dry layers if you tend to get cold). Please RSVP and send any questions to Tim Gleason at: gleasont63@gmail.com.
Best,
Tim
