Autumn Gales: British Canoeing Training and Assessments

Hi folks,

As we tip toe our way into the fall paddling months.  Winds get stronger, storms are more frequent, and the sea gets more active.  That's the time of the year when the Autumn Gales happens.  A complex section of water is used, the entrances to Fishers Island Sound to be exact.  The event is moving into our 14th year of robust training operating out of Stonington Borough CT.  To find out the details and who all is coming as international and regional coaches see this link:  www.autumngales.com

• The Main event is 3 days October 28-30.
  
  • During the main event we can offer up all of the British Canoeing Personal Performance awards.  (3* -5*)
    
  • Safety awards like CNTP and OPWNTP can happen on a really crap weather day during the main event.
    
• British Canoeing Adv SKL Training and or Assessment is scheduled from October 26-27.  
  
• British Canoeing SKL Training and or Assessment is scheduled from October 31-November 1.
  

Registrations have been strong from paddlers from around the northeast region and abroad.  We still do have a handful of openings available.
 
Hope we see some RICKA folks show off their talents.
