Not getting email notification of new threads - Cat.Radcliffe - 07-20-2024
I'm subscribed to the main threads on the message board, but sometimes don't get email notification of a new thread. Case in point is Tony's thread in Paddles, posted earlier today. I wouldn't have seen it if I hadn't checked the message board.
I do usually get email notifications, it's just a hassle not being able to depend on them.

Hi Cat,
I didn't mention it yesterday in our phone conversation, but I never get e-mail notifications of any trip posted on the message board...I didn't even know it was "a thing". I check the Message Board at least twice a day, and the Calendar occasionally. I guess I never subscribed to get notifications of new threads...I don't even know HOW to subscribe. But if you are subscribed, it would seem that you should get them consistently all the time.

Has you e-mail address changed? Did you check your spam folder?

My email address is the same and the notice didn't go to my spam folder. Guess it will remain a mystery of the universe.

This was included in a recent email notification:
"There may also be other new threads and replies but you will not receive anymore notifications until you visit the board again."
So it looks like you have to log on to the message board in order to continue receiving email notifications.
