Regarding the current photo on the Sea Kayaking page...how did Cam take a photo of himself and Tim Motte remotely? Could Jonathan S. be in the equation somewhere?

I don't think that's Cam in the photo.  He has a yellow Avocet; the boat in the picture is orange and much longer than an Avocet.  So the question is, who is the mystery paddler??
