Is that the boat ramp across from the trailer parking?

How is parking if you don't have a trailer?  I was there last week (taking Rock&Surf with Osprey) and I didn't see much other parking.  Is it possible to park along the road with a car without a trailer?

We always park in the area on the harbor side right before the official ramp.
In order to save space we gang up and park behind each other being careful not to block
any paddlers not in our group.
There's also parking on the street. We often unload our gear if we need to park on the street.

We're supposed to get some chilly weather but I have a dry suit plus some wicking and wool layers.  As long as the conditions stay at level 3, I'm hoping to attend.  High windows or waves that would push it to 4 and I'd back out.

Is this manly playing in the rocks off the point?  What is the expected duration and/or distance?

This is usually a rock play paddle but surfing and coastline paddle options are available also. Helmets will be required for both rock play and surf so please come prepared.

I was actually at that location last weekend when I took Osprey's Rock and Surf course.  Seems like it a great place for rock play more than anyting else.  Yeah, I have a helmet.

May try to join the trip - what time do we expect to be off the water?  Might have dinner obligations?

Hi Folks,  Just a friendly reminder.  As some have already pointed out, the air temperature is forecast to be in the low 50's. Please plan accordingly keeping in mind how the north wind may feel when we are on the beach at lunch time.

Hi Cat - Can I assume you meant "mainly" playing in the rocks? (Thanks for the morning laugh.)
Have fun everyone!

So the other thread said Little Comptom beach.  Just double-checking that's the launch site.
