Saturday (Sept 7) Narragansett Bay Campus - 10 am - Level 5 - Tim Motte

Sunday (Sept 8) Sakonnet Point - 10 am - Level 5 - Tim Motte

Helmets, tow belts and team mindset required.  Large period swell expected.  Stronger, but rapidly diminishing, wind gusts Saturday morning.

Is Sunday supposed to be that intense?
I read for Narragansett Bay -- https://forecast.weather.gov/shmrn.php?mz=anz236

 SAT
 N winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt in the
 afternoon. Gusts up to 35 kt. Waves around 3 ft. At the bay
 entrance, waves around 10 ft, subsiding to 8 ft in the afternoon.
 A chance of showers in the morning with vsby 1 to 3 NM.

 SAT NIGHT
 W winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves around 3 ft.

 SUN
 W winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves around 2 ft.

It's all about the anticipated wave period and dropping northerly wind on Saturday.  The impact zone will be totally avoided on Saturday.  On Sunday the wind will be completely resolved, but a high wave period will remain.  Shrew could deal in both cases.

Anticipated wind speed drop not going to be quick enough this morning.  Saturday's paddle is cancelled.
