When beholding the tranquil beauty and brilliancy of the ocean's skin, one forgets the tiger heart that pants beneath it; and would not willingly remember that this velvet paw but conceals a remorseless fang. - Herman Melville

Kokatat Dry Suit - brand new
« on: February 06, 2019, 04:15:17 PM »

I know this is slightly off topic.  I bought a Meridian Dry Suit last year and never got around to using it because of my surgery.  Once I recovered and was paddling again dry suits were optional.  Long story short - it is too small in the waist and I can't return it.
It is brand new with tags still on it.  I am hoping to sell it and recoup some of my money.  It was about $1150 new and I am hoping to get $700, it is on craigslist and facebook marketplace for $750.  If you are interested we can talk about the price.

I am 175 pounds with a 35" waist, 6' tall.  Everything is good except the waist.

Hi Mike,
It must be a thing with Kokatat drysuits...mine fits me well, but the waist is definitely the snuggest part of the fit. Or, maybe our bellies are just too big!  ;D ::) ;). Good luck selling the suit!    Tony
