King's Beach Trip is on, BUT...
« on: June 29, 2013, 04:32:35 PM »

Marine forecast for Sunday on Rhode Island Sound, (posted at 416pm, 29JUN2013) calls for winds from the south at 15-20kts, seas of 5-8 feet. Because of the seas, the trip will be considered a Level 5 trip, and not a Level 4.

P.S. Check here tomorrow after 8am for any further updates

Not sure what that means, but I'll be there. My goal for the day is not to break my boat in half.

Good goal! I believe that negotiating larger scale rock formations only, preferably with relatively safe water on the other side, will be the plan of the day (as opposed to small-scale, tight passageways). See you tomorrow!

I'm planning to be there, BUT could you please post changes as close as possible to 8 am?   Some of us need to leave home around then, or shortly thereafter, to be ready to launch on time.

I'm referring, of course, to the reference to breaking the boat in half  :o

OK, good.  Only reason I mention it is you had said to check *after* 8 am in your original post.

Assuming there is no cancellation by 8 am, see you there.  I'm looking forward to this  ;D

Final communication: trip is definitely on! Change to Level 5 stands, due to 5-7 foot seas (7:17am marine forecast for Rhode Island Sound). See all of you there!
