19 May (Sunday) Pier 5 to Harbor of Refuge.
« on: May 14, 2013, 08:17:43 PM »

Weather permitting we'll depart Narragansett State Pier 5 "Monahan's Dock" at 10:00 and paddle down to the Harbor of Refuge. We'll plan to have lunch at Georges of Galilee. Round trip is about 15 miles. Level 4 paddle.

Great trip, Rich! I have already made a video movie from the clips I took, so I just have to upload it to YouTube (which takes several hours at 1080p resolution and 14.5 minutes) Video link should be up on this site by tomorrow in "Trip Journal" section.

ADDENDUM: Video is now live on YouTube at:    www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqaM98OCscQ

Remember, you can select 1080p resolution, and the large screen option.

Hi Rich,
I noticed 2 mistakes I made in the text of the video...I misspelled "beautiful" (left out the "u"), and I made an alphabetical-order mistake listing the paddlers at the end. I intended to use alphabetical order by first name, but somehow you ended up being listed last (I should have been last). Unfortunately, the video editor I used doesn't allow you to go back to correct mistakes once you've saved the movie. So as a result, we're going to have to start from scratch, doing the whole trip again...just kidding  ::) .
