I would be up for Gooseberry on Saturday. Other than being a beautiful spot to paddle, East Beach road was totally destroyed in the storm last Sunday. The road is closed and will be for quite a while. It would be interesting to see the damage. I am not sure if the section to Gooseberry itself is open, it may not be. An alternative launch may be necessary.

(not Gooseberry Peter until it gets organized, still a mess there)
Saturday  Sept 3rd Seems to be the best
Sakonnet Point at 10:00 would be my choice Level 3, bring a helmet and expect a beach landing, possibly some surf. possibly a crossing to Newport's Sachuest Point, and second beach
