Changes for July 4th paddle
« on: July 01, 2011, 07:16:02 PM »

Big change due to the new configuratipn of Gooseberry Pt parking lot, huge traffic going to parades in Bristol,Westport etc and a paddle already scheduled for this side of the Bay this weekend. Also bits of whining were heard concerning the time accross State lines!
So, the peoples voice was heard and noted!

Fort Wetherill, Level 3 paddle launching promptly at 10:00 - pass on the info
Trip Coordinators - Tim Motte and Carleen McOsker

     Thanks, Carleen

What is the tentative plan?  To paddle to the Narrows and join the flatwater people, or paddle around Jamestown/Beavertail area?  Rockgardening? Have new boat and not sure how it will handle in heavy seas, (although forecast is for light seas) because it is so light. West coast special.
