1/1/11 Paddle Ft Weatherill Meet 10a, launch 10:30a....

What do you think....late enough to sleep...launch at 10:30....paddle around the dumplings.....and then back to Mackeral cove for the Penguine Plunge at noon....and if ya want....padddle out to lighthouse after!

Who is in....email or post and let me know! Looks like great weather.

I'm in!!! Well, that is, half in, as I'll have to leave for work right after the Penguin Plunge.  ::)

I'm planning to make it as well.  But like Tony, I will need to head back to Weatherill after the plunge.  Looking forward to it.

Sounds ideal. Have a wonderful paddle. Jan 1st is the big Bike day here in Westport, traditionally followed by a pot luck. So, I am out.
Happy New Year to all.    Carleen

Tony, good to see you New Year's eve.  Sorry I missed the paddle, but had to send email reservation at exactly noon to get a spot for kayak building class in Oregon.  Timing paid off, got primo date June 6-12.  The classes mostly fill up with first emails after the stroke of 9:00 am PST.

and check out the surf photos in the kayak. He does have a bomb proof roll, so he states.

Hi Mike,
That F1 kayak looks impressive, it is reminiscient of a Mariner Coaster. Is this the one you will be building?
                                  Tony
P.S. Are you going to paddle it back through the Panama Canal?  ::) :D ::)
